Wherever there is great need there is also great opportunity!

Birthed in 2005 on Christmas Day,Tent Makers of Rwanda, is a Christian ministry founded on the pattern of Acts 18:1-5. Rich and Robin Smyth and their four children are self supporting missionaries who left their home in the USA and took the opportunity to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of a nation that is still healing from the deep wounds of hatred and strife. A secondary objective of this ministry is to offer Rwandans a hand up out of the cycle of poverty by creating an employment opportunity for as many as possible. Since the TMoR board of directors are volunteers and the missionaries are self supporting, those of you who take the opportunity to partner with us can know that all donations go directly to ministry to the Rwandan people.
In the last five years the Smyths have built many bridges with local pastors, other missionaries and some of the many orphans who populate this tiny country.
This is a physical bridge built for a widow by a short term missions team from NH. They took the opportunity to get involved!
This family took the opportunity and adopted a child into their home from Rwanda.
